York County School Division values input and feedback from families, staff and community members. We’ve scheduled two community sessions in December to gather your ideas and questions regarding the division’s budget.

YCSD has adopted the I Love U Guys Foundation Standard Response Protocol (SRP) for emergency situations. Students will learn more about the protocols during the first week of school to help them become familiar with the terms and steps to take in an emergency.

YRA students, James Waters and Aleksander Robertson, proudly showcased their innovative product developed through the Entrepreneurship class this semester. They won both Audience Choice AND came in 2nd Place overall for their Filament Beachwear product and we are so proud of them! They won $100 and an invaluable experience with the help of their teacher, Mrs. Wheeler! Great Job to this amazing Phoenix Team!

York River Academy's graduation date has been set for June 10, 2025! We will host the graduation at the York Middle School Auditorium at 6pm. Looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2025! Seniors need to arrive between 5:15-5:30pm at the York Middle School Auditorium. We will start promptly at 6pm so please make sure your senior arrives on time.
