School Improvement Plan

2024-25

Goal 1

YRA will maintain a pass rate of 80% or better in Reading and Writing EOC tests while recognizing a significantly high SWD population in Cohort year 2026 with reading and writing skills well below grade level for 50% or better of this class. 

Goal 2

YRA will improve the overall pass rates in Science by 5-10 over 2023-2024 SY%.   

Goal 3

YRA will work closely with the Coordinator of Online Learning to increase the opportunities for students to engage in upper-level coursework to include higher level math and science courses not taught at YRA and AP and DE courses. 

Goal 4

Within the site-based professional learning time allotted to the building, YRA will prioritize providing teachers with strategies, skills and tools to use across content to support enhanced reading and writing. 

Goal 5

All staff will receive training on trauma informed practices to facilitate reduction in staff burnout and to reduce discipline for all students.
